Limestone chuna paste is used in aquariums for coral growth (kalkwasser), and in agriculture to improve soil, but for edible chuna, it's a tiny amount with paan or in food for calcium; always ensure it's food-grade.
Agriculture: To de-acidify soil, improve nutrient uptake, and protect fruit trees (use sparingly).
Aquariums: As "Kalkwasser" (limewater) to supplement calcium for coral reefs.
Ayurvedic Uses: Traditional betel leaf preparation calls for a minimal application of chuna paste, where just a small amount is placed directly onto the leaf before rolling with areca nut and other ingredients.
Mixed in tiny amounts size of wheat grain in water, dal, or yogurt for calcium.
For bone health, digestion, and general wellness (requires proper dosage).
